Portuguese Laurel. A nice small tight hedge. Its green leaf with red barked branches makes it a nice option for smaller gardens.
You need to be a little more careful with site selection when choosing this plant. It isn’t as hardy as the common Laurel, and it requires better soils and more shelter. Best planted at 30cm centres. Standard spacing is 45cm.
Feed with Poultry manure every 6-8 weeks throughout its first full growing season.
