Fagus slyvatica (Green beech)

A beautifull stately tree. Very long lived provides great value to wildlife. Avoid planting in heavy wet soils. Holds the rusty leaf over winter on juvenile wood. At maturity this tree will have stored 7500kg of Carbon.
